Enter your typical weekly plastic use. You get an annual footprint in weight, CO₂, and a rough idea of ocean-risk plus where reusable swaps help most.

We use typical weights per item (about 23 g per water bottle, 6 g per bag, and similar estimates for containers, cups, utensils, and packaging). Weekly totals are multiplied by 52 for an annual weight in kg. CO₂ is estimated at about 6 kg equivalent per kg of plastic; oil at about 2 kg per kg plastic. Ocean risk uses a conservative 10% leakage share. Comparison is to a rough global average of 60 kg per person per year. These are estimates, not lab measurements. For exact lifecycle data, use official LCA sources.
Reduction potential is based on swapping single-use items for reusables: bottles, bags, and food containers. The tool shows how much you could cut by changing those three habits first.
