Toolexe Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of toolexe.com and every tool on the site. By using a tool, you accept them. If you disagree with any part, please stop using the site.

What Toolexe provides

Toolexe is a free set of 1,181 single-purpose web tools for formatting, converting, encoding, generating and calculating. You need no account, and no tool sits behind a paywall. Ads on the page pay for hosting.

Where your input goes

Most tools run entirely in your browser. Text you paste into a JSON formatter, Base64 encoder or hash generator stays on your device and never reaches our server.

A smaller group of tools sends your input to our server, because the job needs a network request or a server-side word list:

• IP, DNS, hostname and domain lookups
• SSL certificate and security header checks, which fetch the domain you enter
• Generators backed by server-side lists, such as the random quote, paragraph and scene generators
• The contact form and the newsletter sign-up

We process those requests to return your result, and we do not sell what you send. The Privacy Policy covers cookies, analytics and ads.

Acceptable use

Use the tools for lawful work. You agree not to:

• Run scripts or bots against the tools or their internal API endpoints. Rate limits apply, and requests over the limit get rejected.
• Point lookup or checker tools at domains or networks you have no permission to test.
• Paste content you have no right to process, such as other people's personal data or files you do not own.
• Probe, overload or bypass the security of the site.

Your content and the output

You keep every right to the text, files and data you put into a tool. The output generated from your input belongs to you as well.

Generators return sample data, including names, addresses and paragraphs, for testing and mockups. Some entries look real. Do not use generated data to pose as a real person or business, or to fill in official forms.

Accuracy and limits

We test tools with real inputs and fix errors once someone reports them. Results still come without any warranty. Pay attention to these limits in particular:

• Health and money calculators, such as BMI, loan, tax and investment tools, give estimates. They do not replace a doctor, an accountant or a financial adviser.
• Converters and formatters handle common cases. Large files, unusual encodings or malformed input sometimes fail or return wrong output. Check results before they reach production.
• Hash, encryption and token tools exist for testing and learning. Never paste production secrets, private keys or live passwords into any website, this one included.

Toolexe is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for losses caused by using or relying on the output of a tool.

Ads, links and third parties

Pages carry ads from third-party networks, and some pages link to outside sites such as specifications and documentation. We do not control those sites or the ads served on ours. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them.

Changes to the site and these terms

We add, change and retire tools over time, and we update these terms when the site changes. The revision date at the top shows the current version. Using the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
