How each method works

• HSL lightness Changes the lightness part of the color and keeps hue and saturation the same.
• RGB scaling Moves all three RGB channels by the same amount so the color balance stays consistent.
• Luminance-based Uses how bright the eye sees the color (weights for red, green, blue) for a more natural change.
• Exposure Acts like a camera exposure control with an exponential change for a natural brighten or darken.
